On January 14, director Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, who is renowned for her innovative and captivating narratives, will premiere Kadhalikka Neramillai, her most recent love drama. The filmmaker discussed her concept for the movie at the pre-release event and stressed the value of performers being willing to try out a variety of roles.
Kiruthiga praised the whole cast of the movie, especially Vinay Rai, who is a key character. She remembered her first encounter with Vinay, who, after adopting the distinctive persona, complained about being typecast. She said, “He hesitated when I read the script to him, asking if it would be okay and if he might be typecast.” “He completely trusted my assurance that we need to dispel stereotypes and normalize some things in society,” Kiruthiga said. She also emphasized Vinay’s steadfast faith in her vision, pointing out that after that first discussion, he never inquired about the footage or questioned the screenplay.
But Kiruthiga said that Vinay wasn’t the only performer who was first apprehensive about playing the part. “I approached two other actors, and they were also nervous,” she added. “Risk-taking should not be a fear for actors. The courage to explore various parts, even if they don’t work out, enables filmmakers to create unique and captivating characters.
Along with Vinay Rai, Yogi Babu, TJ Banu, John Kokken, and a number of other gifted performers, the film also has Nithya Menen and Jayam Ravi in the key parts. Kadhalikka Neramillai, which features cinematography by Gavemic Ary and music by A. R. Rahman, is sure to be a visual and aural delight. Red Giant Movies is the film’s producer, and viewers can anticipate an amazing cinematic experience.
