Nitish Kumar launches development projects in Darbhanga during the Pragati Yatra

As part of his “Pragati Yatra,” Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched a number of development projects and examined the progress of other initiatives in the Darbhanga district on Saturday.

He set the groundwork for many development initiatives and opened an elderly home in the Sihwada neighborhood.

In order to improve the state’s infrastructure and welfare, CM Nitish is evaluating the work of existing development plans and initiating projects valued at hundreds of crores.

He has already been to Gopalganj, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Siwan, and Saran districts as part of the Pragati Yatra’s second phase.

at a special chopper, CM Nitish landed at 10.40 a.m. at Bharathi, Singhwada block in Darbhanga.

He also met with representatives of the fishermen’s cooperation committee while at Simri Panchayat and Chandsar Pokhar.

He will watch and examine the Panchayat Government Building’s “Saat Nischay” programs.

Later in the day, he is slated to lay the foundation stone for several projects at Simri High School and to open the new building of the Madhya Vidyalaya Simri and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) building, Poshan Vatika (Nutrition Garden).

CM Nitish will meet with Jeevika Didis, Tola Sevaks, and Vikas Mitras after he opens a playground constructed under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA).

The plan to build Darbhanga Bus Station into an international and interstate bus stop will be inspected by the Chief Minister during his visit.

He is expected to make an announcement on the pond’s beautification in Harahi village. In order to investigate the problems with traffic congestion, he would go to Donar Chowk to see how Donar Gumti and Karpuri Chowk have addressed the problem.

In addition, CM Nitish will open the new SSP office building and meet with authorities at the district level to examine the progress of development.

It will be late when he returns to Patna.
