In Rajkot, the Indian women’s cricket team is now playing the Ireland women. They had won the first game of the series, won the toss, and decided to bat first in the second ODI. However, the dismissal of captain Smriti Mandhana dealt them a severe setback.
With 10 fours and two sixes in her 73 runs off 53 balls, Mandhana maintained her outstanding form. After Georgina Dempsey made the incredible grab, Mandhana was sent off.

Orla Prendergast delivered a long ball that circled the wicket at 110.1 mph during the 19th over, which is when the event happened. Georgina Dempsey made the grab this time after Mandhana mistimed a pull shot. As she handed the squad the much-needed breakthrough, Dempsey was then shown jubilantly celebrating.
India was led by Mandhana-Rawal to a solid total.
After winning the toss and deciding to bat first in the second ODI, the Women in Blue got off to a great start. Together, Mandhana and Pratika Rawal amassed 156 runs for the first wicket. After scoring 67 runs, Mandhana was also dismissed. Harleen Deol and Jemimah Rodrigues were at the crease discussing the match, in which the home team was 314/2.
