'Hathiram Choudhary' i.e. Jaideep Ahlawat of 'Paatal Lok' is standing at this position today only on the basis of his hard work, where he has lines of excellent offers. But there was a time when even after playing a good character, he was not getting work in films. Or we can say that there was work but all the roles were similar, which Jaideep Ahlawat did not want to do. Jaideep revealed this during a recent interview. He told that even after the film did well, he did not get decent roles.
During an interview with Hollywood Reporter India, Jaideep Ahlawat recalled some special moments of his career when he got a lot of praise during Raazi, but after this film he did not get work.
Hathiram Chaudhary of 'Paatal Lok' said, “There comes a time when you need to do something good and you also get good roles. People like and praise it a lot, but despite this you do not get work. Same thing happened after Raji, I had no work. Everyone was talking about this role and saying that the previous character was played very well, so why is this happening now. Whatever scripts came to me, they were all the same. After Raazi, everyone wanted me to play the role of an IB officer or RAW. But I did not want to do this, because I had already done this role.”

Jaideep Ahlawat further said, “I had to face a similar situation even after Paatal Lok. After Paatal Lok, I got hundreds of scripts to play the role of a policeman. People told me that sir this is a mixture of Paatal Lok and Mirzapur. I didn't like it, I was like what is this? But everyone wanted the same role.” The second season of Jaideep Ahlawat's web series Paatal Lok is going to be released on Amazon Prime Video on 17 February.
