When Avengers was at its peak in the year 2019, people from all over the world including India paid attention to this film franchise and the earnings of the film were also tremendous. But filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor believes that the way we have given so much importance to foreign mythological films, we have not given that much importance to our Indian mythological characters. Whereas we have always grown up listening to these stories. Then why can't we portray our mythological heroes like Iron Man and Captain America? Abhishek Kapoor wants to work on this along with his wife Pragya Kapoor and create a new multiverse in the Indian film industry.
Talking about this, Abhishesh Kapoor and Pragya said that Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones are some of the projects that I like. India is surrounded by many wonderful mythological tales and this is no less than an opportunity for us. Together we will create a multiverse with the unsung heroes of the country. Our history is not limited to Mahabharata and Ramayana only. Our history is very rich. We want to create a universe that is new and unique.
Work on multiverse is already going on in India. Rohit Shetty has created a multiverse in the year 2024 with the film Singham Again, which was liked by the fans. Pragya wants to create a multiverse in which the characters come face to face with each other. Once the story is ready then work on the cast will start. Being a producer, Pragya will focus on a good story first. Its story will be kept in such a way that the audience can connect themselves with every small and big aspect of it.
