It was a mixed bag for the Brits overnight - Emma Raducanu took out 26th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova but lost to Matteo Berrettini.

And there has been another withdrawal as world No. 16 Anna Kalinskaya pulled out ahead of her opening match.

Meanwhile, fifth seed and three-time Aussie Open runner-up Daniil Medvedev is in serious trouble in the first round, trailing a wildcard ranked at No. 418 in the world.
