Team India has crossed the 400-mark in ODI for the first time and has made its highest score. After winning the toss and batting first, the Indian team achieved a historic feat on the basis of excellent centuries by Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal.

Mandhana and Pratika's century

Smriti Mandhana, who was captaining the match, had won the toss and decided to bat first. She came to open with Pratika Rawal. Mandhana and Raval made a partnership of 233 runs in 26.4 overs for the first wicket. Mandhana was out after scoring 135 runs in 80 balls while Pratika played an inning of 154 runs in 129 balls, hitting 1 six and 20 fours.

Mandhana made 2 big records in her name

During the match, Indian captain Smriti Mandhana made two big records in her name. He completed his century in just 70 balls. This is the fastest century scored by any Indian female cricketer in ODI. The previous record was in the name of Harmanpreet Kaur. In 2024, he scored a century on 87 balls against South Africa. Apart from this, this was Mandhana's 10th ODI century. She is the first batsman in Indian women's cricket to have 10 centuries in her name.

Indian team made the biggest score

The Indian team made its highest score in ODI cricket in this match. The team scored 435 runs for 5 wickets in 50 overs. Apart from the centuries of Mandhana and Raval, Richa Ghosh scored 59 runs in 42 balls. Earlier, India's highest score was 370 for 5 which was made in this series. The highest ODI score in women's cricket is 491 for 4. This score was made by New Zealand against Ireland on 8 June 2018.
