After a demanding Test series in Australia the Indian fast bowler returned last week but his condition remains concerning due to inflammation in his back. Jasprit Bumrah receiving medical care participation in ICC Champions Trophy 2025 uncertain: Sources have indicated that Bumrah is likely to head to the Board of Control for Cricket in Indias (BCCI) Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru. However there is no confirmed timeline for his visit raising doubts about his availability for the Champions Trophy 2025. Jasprit Bumrah is expected to visit the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru next week depending on his recovery progress. According to sources medical professionals have advised him to rest in order to reduce the swelling which will help them assess the next steps for his treatment and rehabilitation. At this point the primary focus is on allowing the pacers back muscles to heal completely and for the swelling to subside before any decisions are made about his fitness or future plans. However if the issue is solely swelling Bumrah may still be available for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Jasprit Bumrah could go to the CoE next week: Report A source close to the development was quoted as saying by Times of India: Bumrah could go to the CoE next week but right now there is no fixed date yet. He has been advised to have bed rest at home to help the muscles recover and the swelling to subside. Once that is done the future course of action will be ascertained. As Bumrah continues to deal with back swelling Indias star pacer wont be hurried back into action. Considering his history of back issues the BCCI has been cautioned against rushing him back onto the field. The exact cause of the swelling remains unclear but if it turns out to be more serious than anticipated his recovery could take longer possibly causing him to miss the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 scheduled in Pakistan and Dubai.
