Sachin Pilgaonkar widely known as Sachin is a renowned figure in Marathi and Hindi cinema celebrated for his roles as a singer director and actor. He began his career as a child actor in the Marathi film industry with the 1962 movie Ha Majha Marg Ekla. As a child artist he appeared in approximately 65 films. Later Sachin was featured in several notable films such as Geet Gaata Chal Balika Badhu Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se and Nadiya Ke Paar. The actor shared screen space with prominent actors like Dharmendra Amitabh Bachchan Hema Malini and more. He is also renowned for producing and directing a series of popular comedy shows on Indian television such as Tu Tu Main Main and Kadvee Khatte Meethi. Other successful Marathi films directed by him include Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi Aamchya Sarkhe Aamhich and Navra Mazha Navsacha. Sachin rose to fame with a brief role in the iconic 1975 film Sholay. He also appeared alongside Amitabh Bachchan in Satte Pe Satta and his portrayal of Chandan in Nadiya Pe Paar garnered significant praise. He remains active on OTT platforms continuing to display his talent.
