Tradition of worship during Sakat Chauth fast

On this day, it is considered auspicious to offer Arghya with sesame seeds and jaggery to the moon at night. After offering Arghya, fasting women eat fruits. Next day in the morning, laddus are accepted as Prasad of Sakat Mata. After this the women conclude the puja by listening to the story of Sakat Mata.
