Special winter snack: Recipe for making tasty radish cutlets

Radish available in winter is not only delicious to eat, but its health benefits are also countless. This is why people like to include it in various dishes from breakfast to lunch. You might have made many dishes like radish paratha or salad, but have you ever tasted radish cutlets? These cutlets taste very tasty when eaten with coriander-mint green chutney or sauce. Come, let us know how to make tasty radish cutlets.

Material:

  • 2 cups grated radish
  • 2 medium size boiled potatoes
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • 2 finely chopped green chillies
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • ½ tsp dry mango powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • salt as per taste
  • oil for frying

Method of preparation:

  1. Squeeze out the water from the radish: First of all, grate the radish and squeeze out all the water from it thoroughly.
  2. Mix the ingredients: In a large bowl, add grated radish, mashed potatoes, bread crumbs, green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves and all the remaining spices and mix well. Knead this mixture like dough.
  3. Shape into cutlets: Apply some oil on your hands and make small cutlets from the mixture.
  4. Fry: Heat oil in a pan and drop the cutlets one by one into the hot oil. Deep fry them until they turn golden brown on both sides.
  5. Serving: Take out the cutlets on a tissue paper and remove excess oil. Your tasty radish cutlets are ready. Serve them hot with coriander-mint chutney or sauce.
