He revealed, "When I came to Mumbai, I had a backup plan in case I didn’t get work. I brought my driving license with me, thinking that if nothing else worked out, I could drive a taxi. Gradually, I got opportunities. K. Abbas Sahab gave me my first job. As for Zanjeer, it was written by Salim-Javed. One day, they came to meet me and said they wanted to narrate a story. I thought they were joking because they usually worked with big stars. But they narrated the story, and that’s how I got the role."

He continued, "I once asked Javed Sahab why they thought I could play the role. He said they had seen me in Bombay to Goa, in a scene where I was eating in a restaurant, and Shatrughan Sinha’s character punches me. I fall, but when I get up, I continue eating the sandwich mid-fight. Javed Sahab said that my habit of finishing the sandwich despite the situation convinced them I was right for the role."

Speaking about the iconic dialogue from Zanjeer, Big B shared, "The scene you’re talking about was my first day of shooting. Opposite me was the esteemed Pran Sahab, and I was supposed to deliver such bold lines to him. I told director Prakash Mehra ji that I was uncomfortable saying those lines—it felt disrespectful. But, as they say, you have to do a lot for the sake of earning a living. So, I kicked the chair, delivered the dialogue, and felt very embarrassed. Afterward, I folded my hands and apologized to Pran Sahab for any mistakes."

As soon as Mr Bachchan recited those lines, the audience cheered loud. Next Big B presented the 'Super Sawaal'. How many states in India have their entire coastline on the west coast. Vinay answers '5' and wins the super power 'Dugnastraa'.

Amitabh Bachchan shared, "The first thing I was taught was to always speak the truth, no matter what. When I told my family about taking on this project, I won’t name names, but some people said, ‘You’re making a big mistake.’ I asked, ‘Why?’ They replied, ‘People see you on the 70mm big screen, and now they’ll watch you on a smaller TV screen. Moving from the big screen to the small screen will diminish your stature. It’s a huge mistake.’

He added with a smile, "I didn’t listen to them and still went ahead. And here I am, sitting in this chair for the past 25 years."

Amitabh Bachchan shared the story behind his decision to host Kaun Banega Crorepati. He said, "When I had made up my mind, the people who brought the proposal to me explained the concept of the game. I admitted I wasn’t familiar with it and expressed my desire to see how it works. They informed me it was being conducted abroad, in London. I asked if I could visit to observe it. The team, who were very generous and accommodating, took me to the LC studio in London where the game was being played."

He continued, "I was deeply impressed by what I saw there. After leaving the studio, I told them, ‘If you can recreate this kind of atmosphere here, I am ready to host the game.’ I must congratulate them because, to this day, they have maintained the same high-quality production and environment."
