The Australian team defeated Nepal in a one-sided fashion by 83 runs in the Under-19 T20 World Cup. The main reason for the defeat of Nepal team was its batting. Nepal team was chasing the target of only 140 runs and despite this the team could score only 56 runs in 20 overs. The team did not even get all out, it played full 20 overs and none of its batsmen tried to win. Nepal's captain Pooja Mahato also left no stone unturned to defeat her team.
Nepal's team was hurt the most by its captain Pooja Mahato. This batsman scored only 18 runs in 42 balls. The big thing is that Pooja Mahato did not hit a boundary. She could neither hit a four nor a six. Not only this, Pooja Mahato did not score a single run in 25 balls, meaning she played so many dot balls. Apart from Pooja Mahato, opener Sana Parveen contributed only 8 runs in 22 balls. Nepal team could score only 24 runs in the first 50 balls and from here the match went out of their hands.

Nepal's batting was very shameful. His 3 batsmen could not even open the account. Only captain Pooja Mahato could touch double figures, resulting in a crushing defeat for the team by 83 runs. Talking about Australia, its start was also bad. This team's 3 wickets had fallen for just 14 runs but after this Caoimhe Bray made a good partnership with Elinor LaRosa. Bray scored 45 runs in 34 balls. LaRosa played an inning of 31 runs. Hasrat Gill scored unbeaten 30 runs in 21 balls, taking Australia to 139 runs. This score proved to be match winning for Australia.
