There are probably a million ways to make a living but what if you could turn your hobby into a full-time business and become a millionaire before turning 30? Kelsey Mikula a 27-year-old woman who once faced a $80000 (around Rs 70 lakh) student loan started buying and reselling old clothes in 2020 while she was studying zoology at the Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia US. After turning a decent profit Kelsey soon realized that she could turn her hobby into a business and started buying clothes from charity shops like Salvation Army Goodwill and local thrift shops and then resell them online on eBay Mercari and Poshmark. She also collects unwanted clothes from people’s homes and auctions them on Whatnot according to a report by the New York Post. What started as a small hobby during her time as a student has now turned into a full-time business for Kelsey Mikula allowing her to successfully pay off her $80000 student loan. At present Kelsey makes around $12000 (over Rs 10 lakh) a month on average running a successful online business and has set a shining example for others in a similar situation she was once in. “It has been crazy how much things have grown since I went full-time. Working for myself I have a lot more free time it is good for my mental health doing something that I really want to do Kelsey told NYP. Kelsey believes that reselling is a performance-intensive job which requires utmost dedication and hard-work and dedication to turn a healthy profit. “You need to be productive if you want to see the money coming in. Reselling is a performance-based job if I work hard for the whole month my numbers go up says the young entrepreneur from Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
