1. To apply for your passport through online mode, first go to the Passport Seva online portal.
2. After this you will see an option of 'Register Now' on the site. Click on this option.
3. Log in to the portal using the registered login ID.
4. After this you have to click on “Apply for Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport”.
5. After this the form will open in front of you. Fill the required information as mentioned in the form.
6. After filling the form, click on submit button.
7. In the next step, on the “View Saved/Submitted Applications” screen, click on the “Pay and Schedule Appointment” link to schedule an appointment.
8. Online payment is mandatory to book appointment in all PSK/POPSK/PO.
9. You can make online payment through Debit or credit card (MasterCard and Visa), SBI Bank Challan, Internet banking.
10. To print the Application Reference Number (ARN) or Appointment Number application receipt, click on the link 'Print the Application Receipt'.
11. Applicants are not required to carry the printout of the application receipt while visiting the passport office, as the SMS received on the mobile number contains the details of the appointment.
12. The applicant has to take all his/her original documents to the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)/ Regional Passport Office (RPO).
