The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (Gate) and Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) examination center to be held in Prayagraj due to Mahakumbh has been transferred to Lucknow. In fact, due to the Kumbh Mela, the candidates who take the exam in Prayagraj centers of Gate and JAM will now take the exam in the centers of Lucknow. IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi said in a joint statement that many candidates have expressed their difficulty in reaching the examination centers in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh as a large number of devotees are expected to reach the Mahakumbh on February 1 and 2.
IIT said that so the centers of these examinations in Prayagraj have now been transferred to Lucknow.
The statement said that the GATE and JAM 2025 examinations to be held in Prayagraj have now been transferred to the centers of Lucknow according to the predetermined time table.
Explain that this decision was taken during the Mahakumbh Mela due to the arrival of a large number of devotees in Prayagraj, so that the candidates do not face any kind of difficulty in reaching the examination centers. Examiners have been advised to go to the official website and check it for information about their new examination centers. Apart from this, new admit cards have also been issued, which candidates can download from the portal.
