New Delhi: In response to claims made by Arvind Kejriwal, AAP leader Priyanka Kakkar on Thursday attacked Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for taking a sip of Yamuna water, claiming that the latter did not consume the water but instead spat it out right after.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Delhi yesterday to criticize Arvind Kejriwal after the major tragedy in Mahakumbh. We have informed everyone that purchasing a generator would be the first thing they need to do if they vote for the BJP. Everyone saw the spectacle that Nayab Singh Saini produced by feigning to sip Yamuna water. He didn’t instantly spit out the water after drinking it. “He needs to explain how contaminated the Yamuna water is, instead of deceiving people and creating all this drama,” she told ANI.
In an attempt to refute charges made by former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini visited the banks of the Yamuna River in Palla village, Delhi, on Wednesday.
In order to damage Delhi’s citizens, Kejriwal had claimed that the Haryana government had “poisoned” the city’s water supply.
“Unfortunate” is how Saini described Kejriwal’s speech, accusing him of using it to “create fear in the minds of people” in order to further his political agenda.
He told reporters, “An unfortunate statement by Arvind Kejriwal was given to create fear in the minds of people for his political benefits.””Today, I came here to the banks of the River Yamuna and took a sip of water from Yamuna,” Saini emphasized further. He said that the Yamuna River was tainted by the Haryana BJP government. He mentioned widespread genocide.
Speaking about a Punjab automobile that was discovered outside Delhi’s Punjab Bhawan with AAP leaflets and many liquor bottles and thousands of rupees in cash, Priyanka Kakkar further said that the car’s owner is a Maharashtra-based BJP employee and that the license plate is from another vehicle.
Speaking to ANI, Kakkar said that the Punjab Police had made it clear that none of the cars in question were part of their fleet of state-owned automobiles.
“This is an absurd accusation, and the BJP did not even put up much effort to play the blame game this time around. The car’s owner is a Maharashtra-based BJP employee, and the license plate is from another vehicle. How absurd is it that a driverless automobile containing money and other items is parked outside Punjab Bhawan at random? No such vehicle or number is part of the fleet of Punjab government cars, according to Punjab Police, Kakkar said.
The car with the words “Punjab Sarkar” scrawled on it was seen on Delhi’s Copernicus Marg, close to Punjab Bhavan, according to the Delhi Police.
“We learned today that a strange car with the Punjabi license plate and the words ‘Punjab Sarkar’ printed on it is parked on Copernicus Marg, close to Punjab Bhavan. Upon investigating, several liquor bottles, Aam Aadmi Party literature, and a sizable sum of cash were discovered inside the car. The New Delhi District’s Police Station Tilak Marg is the site of appropriate legal action,” the police stated in a statement.
The Punjab administration, however, said that the car’s license plate is “forged and fake” and denied any claims that the vehicle was associated with the state government.
According to the state’s administration, “The vehicle is registered in the name of Maj. Anubhav Shivpuri, who was posted in Army Dental College, Pathankot, 3 years back and is a permanent resident of Khadki, Maharashtra.”.
