Washington, DC: According to Deadline, the Recording Academy announced on Thursday that pop artist Taylor Swift will present at the 67th Grammy Awards on February 2.
The award category that she will present has not yet been revealed. Notably, this year’s nominations for Taylor’s tenth album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” span six categories.
She is vying for album of the year, and if she wins it for the fifth time, she would have broken the record she established last year with her tenth album, “Midnights.”
Additionally, the singer has received nominations for the 67th Grammy Awards in the following categories: Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Music Video, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (with Gracie Abrams).
Currently regarded as one of the world’s best vocalists, Taylor has won four Grammy Awards for Album of the Year. Her albums Fearless, 1989, Folklore, and Midnights were the winners.
She is tied with Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, and Frank Sinatra for the most Grammys; however, she is the one with the most AOTY awards.
In the Album of the Year category, the “All Too Well” singer will face up against Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short and Sweet,” and Billie Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard And Soft” this year.
Additionally, according to Deadline, Swift, Carpenter, and Eilish will compete for the Song and Record of the Year Grammy awards.
The Fortnight singer completed her most ambitious endeavor to date in December: the Eras stadium tour, which took place over a year and a half and took her to places all over the world.
On February 2, the 2025 Grammy Awards will be held in Los Angeles at the Crypto.com Arena. This will be Trevor Noah’s sixth straight hosting gig.
Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Doechii, Raye, Benson Boone, Teddy Swims, Sabrina Carpenter, and Shakira are among the first wave of confirmed artists for the 67th event.
