If you have an account in PNB Bank and you have not been doing any transactions from your account for a long time, then now you should be careful. Actually, accounts in which there has been no transaction for the last 3 years will be closed after February 16. If you do not want your account to be closed, then for this you have to update KYC before February 15.

In this situation, the bank has decided to close these accounts to prevent misuse of these accounts and other risks. The bank also informed that if these accounts are to be saved from closure, then customers will have to update their KYC by February 15.
These customers will have to get KYC done -
Punjab National Bank (PNB bank update) has given information about such accounts in which there has been no customer-induced transaction for more than three years till 31 December 2024 and which have no balance, that is, they are zero balance. The bank has informed the account holders of these accounts to get their accounts activated by visiting the respective branches and submitting new KYC documents. If the customers do not do so, the bank will close those accounts after one month without any prior notice.
Do this work by 15 February -
Punjab National Bank (PNB) has requested the account holders to restart their accounts by submitting KYC documents by visiting their respective branches on or before 15 February 2025. After doing this, you will be able to avail all the services provided by the bank again. If the account holders do not do this, then such accounts will be closed after 16 February 2025 without any prior notice.
How will KYC be updated -

Money can neither be withdrawn nor deposited in a dormant account. To activate it again, the account holder has to go to the concerned bank branch and submit his identity proof and other necessary documents.
