The Enforcement Directorate had raided the locations of Jayshree Gayatri Food Products Private Limited in Bhopal, Sehore, and Morena districts. During the action, ED has found assets worth Rs 73 crore. The next day of the action, Payal Modi, wife of Jai Shri Gayatri Food owner Kishan Modi, consumed poison in her Shahpura B-Sector house. She was admitted to a private hospital in critical condition, where she is undergoing treatment. Where her condition remains critical. It has been alleged in the suicide note that all the above people are using Chirag Paswan's political power to get CGST, FFSI, EOW, and ED raids done on Modi's companies.

Chandra Prakash Pandey, Ved Prakash Pandey, Sunil Tripathi, Bhagwan Singh Mewada, Hitesh Punjabi, Union Minister Chirag Paswan, and others are responsible for the steps I am going to take today. These people harass me and my family a lot by using Chirag Paswan's power. Despite these people committing a lot of theft in our company, for which we have also lodged an FIR, they got raids conducted on us by CGST, FFSI, EOW, and ED. I and my family are very harassed.
