Basant Panchami or Vasant Panchami is an auspicious Hindu festival that honours Goddess Saraswati’s wisdom and art. It also serves as a marker of commencement of spring festivities. A celebration of change of season, it is a spiritual occasion that flourishes in the theme of yellow. This year, BAsant Panchami will be celebrated on 2 February.
