KGF star Yash, the actor who has now turned producer for films like Toxic and Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan, was allegedly in the news for scrapping the major content from his upcoming film titled Toxic.
The claim
According to the report in Telugu 360, a massive schedule of the film Toxic was shot in Mumbai a month ago. However, Yash was not satisfied with the content and asked the makers to scrap the entire footage.
The entire team apparently is reshooting the scenes, which cost them a bomb. The Toxic production team is spending lavishly on the sets and sequences.
Yash has reportedly been paid a staggering Rs 50 crore for his role in the film. This huge amount reflects his immense value to the project and the anticipation surrounding his performance.
The truth behind these allegations
The producer of the movie Toxic starring Yash is Venkat K. Narayana, who runs KVN Productions. The movie is also jointly produced by Yash's Monster Mind Creations.
So the allegation about Yash charging Rs 50 crore is completely false, as he is co-producing thefilm and he knows the pros and cons of what goes behind shooting a project.
The official statement about the film's content being reshot has not been mentioned by the team, and for them to reshoot the whole schedule would definitely cost them a bomb.
Toxic is an action drama film directed by Geetu Mohandas and jointly produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
The film stars rocking star Yash alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, and Huma Qureshi. The film is based on the story of a drug cartel in Goa. The movie is set in the 1950s–1970s and explores themes of power, love, and betrayal.
The film was initially planned for a summer 2025 release, but the plans were pushed further due to many different reasons, and a new release date will be announced soon.
