Fans of Ginny and Georgia have been eagerly awaiting the new season after a cliffhanger ending to the last series, which saw Georgia Miller (played by Brianne Howey) arrested during her wedding dance. Now, has released some tantalising first-look images from the upcoming season.
One image shows an emotional Georgia behind bars, on trial for the murder of Tom Fuller (Vincent Legualt). Another reveals Ginny Miller (Antonia Gentry) and her brother Austin Miller (Diesel La Torraca) in what seems to be a courtroom, both looking anxious.
These images follow on from Netflix sharing photos of the cast's table read, with the Miller family back together. Sarah Lampert, the creator and executive producer of Ginny and Georgia, recently told Netflix's Tudum: "This season we blew up our . That's the best way to describe it."
She added: "The characters were pushed to new places, and the actors delivered performances that shook me to my core. The fans have been so patient, I cannot wait for them to see season three."
The new season will introduce Sarah Glinski as show runner and another executive producer, reports .
Glinski teased: "It's incredibly complex, filled with lots of love but also lots of pain. This season, we'll see it evolve in unexpected ways.
These women don't start and end the season the same people."
She added: "But that's not all fans can expect: "We also dig deeper into other relationships - some we've seen before, and some we haven't."
When the eagerly awaited series lands in the summer, fans will have been on tenterhooks for almost 18 months for fresh episodes.
The production of season three kicked off in April 2024 in Toronto, Canada and concluded by August, with the show progressing into post-production. Adding to the anticipation, Netflix has already greenlit a fourth season of Ginny and Georgia, assuring more riveting twists and turns from the mother-daughter duo.
New characters will join the fray, including Manifest's Ty Doran portraying the easy-going Wolfe in Ginny's poetry class. The third season will also introduce Noah Lamanna, known for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, as Tris, the brainy skater kid.
