Marcus Rashford has been sent a telling two-word message by former Manchester United team-mate after sealing a switch to . The current Chelsea winger underwent a similar ordeal to his compatriot in the summer transfer window.
Having been a Red Devil since the age of seven, Rashford had become part of the furniture at Old Trafford. That was of new boss, Ruben Amorim. The Portuguese head coach was with the forward's efforts in training, and, accompanied by the fact that his form had taken a nosedive, he from the squad.
This has culminated in - with a in the summer - for Rashford. Now, some of his former United team-mates have wished him well, with Sancho's comment particularly telling.
After the move was announced, Rashford took to Instagram to upload a series of photos of himself signing his contract to become a Villan, with the caption: "I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal happen.
"I was lucky to have a few clubs approach me, but Aston Villa was an easy decision - I really admire the way that Aston Villa have been playing this season and the managers' ambitions. I just want to play football and am excited to get started. I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best for the rest of the season."
