Star spinner Kuldeep Yadav, last played for India in the first Test of the home series against New Zealand in October 2024. Shreyas Iyer, who last played for India against Sri Lanka on August 7, 2024, is also part of the ODI team.

Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Verma, Suryakumar Yadav, Ravi Bishnoi, Varun Chakraborty, Shivam Dubey, Ramandeep Singh, Dhruv Jurel, and Rinku Singh will be out of the Indian team after playing the T20 series. He will not play in the ODI series against England. Samson, Abhishek, Tilak, Surya, Bishnoi, and Chakraborty played all five matches of the T20 series. While Ramandeep did not get a chance to play any match. Jurel and Dubey played in two matches, while Rinku played three T20 matches.
