Maharashtra Crime News: Police in Maharashtra raided a bank and seized Rs 5 crore. Police had raided a shop. The manager had withdrawn this amount from the bank out of greed. Let's know about the whole case in detail.


Bhandara Crime News: Police have recovered Rs 5 crore from a dry cleaning shop in Maharashtra's Bhandara district. Crime Branch, local police and ATS conducted a joint raid and recovered the cash. Police have detained 9 people including a private bank manager in the case. Superintendent of Police Noorul Hasan told PTI on Tuesday that the manager of an Axis Bank branch was lured by the accused with a return of 6 crores in exchange for 5 crores. Police got information about this. After this, the joint teams raided a dry cleaning shop in Indira Nagar. 5 crores kept in a box in the shop have been seized.

 

It took the police about 2 hours to count the cash with the help of machines. According to the police, the bank manager himself took out the cash from the locker due to greed for one crore rupees. Later he filled it in a bag and took it to a shop named Rajkamal Press. The police is interrogating the accused bank manager Gauri Shankar Bawankule. The accused had planned to show this amount in the bank through anonymous RTGS, but the case was exposed before that. Investigation has revealed that the gang giving commission on money has spread from Delhi, MP to Chhattisgarh. Bundles of 100 and 500 rupees have been found in the money seized by the police.

Case registered against 5 people

A day earlier, Jammu Crime Branch had also registered a case against five people including the alleged CEO of New York Live Trade Business Plan in a fraud case of Rs 3 crore. It is alleged that this money was taken in the name of investment in foreign exchange, cryptocurrency, commodity trading and share trading. The accused had lured the investors to become rich soon. The accused are originally from Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. Police have arrested Rishi Sharma resident of Shimla, Raman Swasthya resident of Himachal Pradesh, Sanjeev Verma and Rahul Verma resident of Gurdaspur, Pradeep Saini resident of Haryana.
