Every year numerous films are directed and produced in Bollywood. While some become superhits despite a low budget others fail miserably at the box office—even with A-list actors in the cast. Today we are discussing a movie that turned out to be Indias biggest flop. Highly anticipated the film did not satisfy its audience even by a fraction resulting in a huge failure. The film in question is the action thriller Martin featuring actor Dhruva Sarja.
In the film Dhruva Sarja played a key role. His character Arjun Saxena along with Martin/Rhino was meant to be the highlight of the movie. The Kannada film hit the big screens in October 2024. Although the teaser and trailer were quite promising the film turned out to be a major flop. The reason for film being such a flop was too much of action and no strong storyline.
Martin was promoted as the next mega-action film from the Kannada industry with the makers attempting to emulate the success of KGF. However it opened to overwhelmingly negative reviews with many critics even naming it the worst film of 2024. The audiences disapproval of the storyline also had a significant impact on its box office performance.

According to reports the film had a budget of Rs 150 crore but managed to collect only Rs 15 crore in India and Rs 5 crore overseas taking the total to Rs 20 crore worldwide.
With such miserable numbers Martin became the biggest flop of 2024 in the Kannada industry. The film managed to recover only 10% of its budget before it eventually crumbled to dust.
