UPSC CSE 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will soon close the registration window for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025. UPSC CSE 2025 Prelims Date: UPSC CSE Preliminary Exam Date
As per the schedule of UPSC, the Civil Services Preliminary Exam will be held on May 25, 2025. This exam will act as a screening test and the marks obtained by the candidates in this exam will not be used to get admission in the CSE (Main) exam.

UPSC Civil Service Form 2025: Eligibility

Educational Qualification: Through the Civil Services Exam, officers are selected for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Forest Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Defense Accounts Service (IDAS), and other services. For IAS, candidates must have a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized university. At the same time, for IFS, candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Agriculture, or equivalent subjects.

Age Limit: 21 to 32 years as on August 1, 2025. Upper age limit will be relaxed for reserved category candidates.
