There was a time when food was cooked on a clay stove in India. But now food is cooked using gas cylinders in almost all the houses. The government is now running the Ujjwala scheme to reach gas cylinders even in remote areas.
Gas is cooked quickly and safely using a gas cylinder. Therefore, now the use of gas cylinders is increasing day by day. But many times people keep some things in mind while taking a gas cylinder. Due to this, they suffer losses.
Many times people bring leaky cylinders to their homes. From which a lot of gas is leaked. Because they do not know how much gas comes in a gas cylinder. Let us tell you how much gas is in a gas cylinder. And how can we check it?
First of all, let us tell you how much weight a cylinder has. So look, the empty cylinder you bring weighs around 15 to 16 kg. And the gas in it weighs 14.02 kg.
That is, if we talk about the full cylinder, it weighs between 29 to 30 kg. To find this out, when you bring the cylinder, check the Tare Weight (TW) written on it. 14.2kg will be written next to TW.
But don't believe this just because it is written. You must use an electronic weighing machine for this. And place the cylinder on it and weigh its weight. If the weight is less than 29 kg. Then understand that your cylinder is leaking or the gas has been taken out from it.
If this happens, then do not accept the cylinder. Complain about it to the delivery boy. And ask him for another cylinder. You can also complain about this to your LPG distributor. Or you can call customer care.
