There has been a dispute going on between Kerala Cricket Association and Sanju Samson for a long time. There was a lot of uproar over Samson being excluded from the domestic ODI tournament Vijay Hazare Trophy. Due to this, Samson was out of the race for the Champions Trophy. Now former Team India fast bowler S Sreesanth has given his opinion on this matter during a TV show. He had raised questions on KCA while supporting Samson. But now he seems to be trapped in this affair. Actually, KCA has issued a notice to him citing wrong and insulting statements. Let us tell you that Sreesanth also used to play domestic cricket for the Kerala Cricket Association.

KCA told the real reason for the notice

However, the Kerala Cricket Association has denied issuing a notice for supporting Samson. It says that it has nothing to do with this. The association says that Sreesanth is the owner of the Kollam Sailors franchise in the Kerala Cricket League. Despite this, he has made false and derogatory statements. By doing this, Sreesanth has violated the rules of the contract. Therefore, KCA has issued a show cause notice against him.

Reminded of match fixing and jail, warned

KCA has taken a very tough stand against Sreesanth. It was not just limited to issuing notices but also tried to reopen old wounds. The association reminded him of the worst days of his career and targeted him by mentioning the allegations against him.

It said in its statement, 'When Sreesanth was in jail and facing match fixing charges, it was the KCA officials who supported him. Although the court has dropped the criminal case against him in this matter, he has still not been completely acquitted. Therefore, he does not need to protect other players.' The association further claimed in its statement that it was because of it that Sreesanth got a chance to play in Ranji after completing his jail sentence.

What did Sreesanth say about KCA?

Sreesanth had questioned KCA and said that 'Only one player from our state is playing at the international level. We all should support him. After Sanju, the so-called KCA has not been able to produce a single international player like him. We have many players like Sachin, Nidish and Vishnu Vinod but is the association doing anything to promote them?' After this, KCA had targeted Sreesanth and named many players who are playing for the Indian women's cricket team.
