Recipe
First, take a big bowl and peel the potatoes and then mash them well.
After this, take a pan and add oil to it and heat it on medium flame. When the oil is hot, add finely chopped onion and fry for some time.
– When the color of onion starts turning golden brown, add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder and garam masala.
After mixing everyone well, fry for 1-2 minutes. After this, add chopped green chili and green coriander leaves.
Now add potatoes already mashed in this mixture and mix well. Fry this mixture for some time while stirring with a crush.
– Now the mixture for the chop is ready. Turn off the gas and keep it to cool down.
Now take another bowl and mix gram flour, corn floor and a little baking powder in it and mix it all.
– Prepare gram flour solution by adding a little water to it. Keep in mind that water has to be pouring slightly or else the solution can become more thin.
Now take the prepared mixture of potato and prepare its small ticks. Dip them one by one in the gram flour solution.
Now heat oil in a pan to fry the tikki. When the oil starts boiling, fry the ticks dissolved in the gram flour and fry it.
During this time, keep the gas flame on the medium. Fry Tikki from both sides until it becomes golden and crispy.
After that take it out in a plate. Similarly, fry all the ticks. Potato chop is ready. Serve it with chutney or tomato sauce.
