The Masked Singer enthusiasts were all cracking the same gag as Bush took to the stage again on Saturday night (February 8), with the show hitting its semi-final stride.
Judges Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, and Maya Jama were back in the hot seats and were joined by movie royalty Richard E Grant.
The panel tried to work out which celebrities are behind the bold costumes for the penultimate show.
Before the enigmatic character Bush could drop any hints about their true identity, social media was abuzz with speculation that it is Natalie Cassidy.
The actress is famed for her role as Sonia Jackson in EastEnders since 1993 and soon to depart the BBC series, is the celebrity behind the mask.
Taking to the stage for the semi-finals, Bush performed to Abba hit Thank You for the Music, and teased their identity.
The performance caused an outpouring of tweets from viewers who were 'happy to see Sonia from EastEnders on screen'.
One fan posted on X, confidently asserting: "Here's Sonia #MaskedSingerUK."
A second chimed in with a similar hunch: "It's time Natalie Cassidy - Sonia from EastEnders as Bush #maskedsingeruk."
A third added: "If Bush isn't Sonia from EastEnders I'll be rioting #MaskedSingerUK." (sic)
"Hello Sonia from EastEnders nice to see you #MaskedSingerUKMe", stated one viewer. (sic)
While another joked: "My mum: Bush is Natalie Cassidy. My dad 2 minutes later: It sounds like Sonia from EastEnders. Me: Same person #MaskedSingerUK." (sic)
"How the judges are not guessing Natalie Cassidy is beyond me, all Bush needs is a Trumpet in their hand and it is screaming Sonia Fowler #maskedsingeruk," suggested another. (sic)
During the semi-final, two contestants will be eliminated in a double unmasking before the grand final next week.
To see who is crowned winner of The Masked Singer, viewers will need to tune into the final on Saturday, February 15 at 7pm. The episode of the ITV1 show will finish at 8.30pm.
