Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is set to make his directorial debut with a Netflix series titled “The Ba***ds of Bollywood,” slated for release in 2025. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the series offers a fresh perspective on the Hindi film industry, blending high-stakes drama with sharp humor.

The narrative follows the journey of an ambitious outsider navigating the glamorous yet challenging world of Bollywood. While not a biopic of Shah Rukh Khan, the series is expected to echo aspects of his own journey as an outsider breaking into the industry.

Aryan Khan, who graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in film and television production from the University of Southern California in 2020, has previously ventured into fashion and business. His directorial debut marks his first major step into the world of film.The collaboration between Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment is not new. This will be their sixth joint venture, following successful projects like the crime drama “Class of ’83” and the zombie thriller “Betaal.”
