The story is about Barfi (Ranbir Kapoor) a broke mute and deaf man whose impeccable and innocent humour mischief lands him in trouble. That how he meets Jhilmil (Priyanka Chopra) an autistic girl who is bereft of family support and love and finds her anchor in Barfi. The love triangle also has Shruti Ghosh (Ileana DCruz). Three people three forms of love will definitely leave you with a smile at the end.
It gained international critical acclaim for its unique storytelling songs and acting. It was selected as Indias official entry to Oscars (85th Academy Awards) for Best Foreign Language Film. From best direction acting music etc the movie collectively mustered a grand hall of fame boasting of around 68 accolades on the shelf.
