Here, a pregnant woman was treated in such a way by her husband and in-laws that anyone's blood would boil after hearing it. The incident is from Kulpahar Kotwali town. Here, 25-year-old pregnant Neha, a resident of Mohalla Govind Nagar, has been admitted to the emergency ward of the district hospital by her mother and father.

Attempt to murder

Actually, the woman has made a serious allegation against her husband mother-in-law and father-in-law of beating her and forcefully feeding her dye. The woman alleges that she is being harassed for not fulfilling the demands of money made by her husband and not transferring the land in her name and now an attempt has been made to kill her by feeding her hair dye.

Three years ago Neha was married to Sanjay who lived in her neighborhood. She started being tortured right after the marriage. The husband was constantly demanding money from her father and transferring the land in his name. When Neha did not fulfil their demands she was brutally

beaten up and then her husband Sanjay, father-in-law Raju and mother-in-law Anita made her eat hair dye. Neha informed her mother and father. After which she was taken to Community Health Center Kulpahar for treatment. From here she was referred to the district hospital and her treatment is going on.

The victim's mother expressed her pain.

The victim's mother said that Neha has been harassed ever since the marriage. She was beaten up almost every day. She was humiliated because they had no son and only two daughters. Sanjay used to demand money and land from Neha almost every day. When Neha did not fulfil his demand, my daughter was beaten up. Neha has a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter and a 7-month-old son. Despite this, the harassment from her husband and in-laws did not decrease.

The mother said that earlier also my daughter was beaten up. Even then, after mutual reconciliation, Neha was sent to her in-laws' house after being counselled by the women's police station. But today, after being fed hair dye, her condition has worsened and she has been admitted to the hospital. A complaint has been lodged in the police station regarding this. When the police reached for investigation, the husband and in-laws were found absconding. The police have started searching for them.
