Officials said that on February 10, the complainant and her infant were taken shopping by the accused at D-Mart in Kachiguda. The accused gave the kid to the mother while she was choosing clothing, and the accused then drove off in a rented car.

Two special teams, headed by SI D. Subhash and P. Ravi Kumar, were established after the complaint was received, and they utilized CCTV video to trace down the culprits.

The infant was taken from the home of Sandhya Rani, who was suspected of buying it, and the police located and arrested the main suspect, Boga Narsing Raj, in Gowliguda, Hyderabad. Shervatti Varalaxmi, the baby’s biological mother, received him safely. In accordance with sections 137(2), 80, and 81 of the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015, Kachiguda Police filed a complaint.

Two suspects, Boga Narsing Raj, 46, an X-ray technician at Nikhil Hospital, and Raghavender, 48, a government employee, have been taken into custody, according to the police. N. Umavathi, 55, the third accused, is now evading capture.

According to police investigations, Boga Narsing Raj has previously engaged in illegal activity. He reportedly offered to set up newborns for illegal adoption in order to entice childless families.

According to officials, Sandhya Rani approached Boga Narsing Raj after expressing interest in adopting a kid via Raghavender.

With an upfront payment of Rs 100,000, a contract was reached for Rs 150,000. After that, Raj went after the complainant, persuading her to go to D-Mart, where he kidnapped the infant and gave him to Sandhya Rani in return for Rs 30,000. To catch the fugitive accused, a case has been filed and more inquiries are being conducted.
