Popular YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beer Biceps and stand-up comedian Samay Raina made the headlines after Ranveers inappropriate comment on YouTube show Indias Got Latent got flagged. Things started going south after a lawyer filed a complaint against Ranveer social media influencer Makhija host Samay Raina and the organisers. Amid the sensitive matter the Maharashtra Cyber Cell is on large-scale investigation tracking down individuals who were part of Indias Got Latent show. The official nodded on sharing legal notices with the judging panel and the organisers. Amid this heated controversy former actress and model Rakhi Sawant stepped in to defend Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina. Rakhi Sawant SLAMS double standards in industry For the unversed Rakhi Sawant appeared as a judge in episode 12 of Indias Got Latent show. The diva urged the public to forgive Raveer although she agreed that his comment was inappropriate he deserves a second chance. While talking to ETimes Rakhi questioned why only one show was being targeted and not everyone else. One person made a mistake but why target everyone else? Ranveer said something wrong and I agree it was inappropriate but why only attack Samay Raina? When Nawazuddin Siddiqui did bold scenes in Sacred Games nobody objected. If youre banning this show then all OTT platforms should be shut down too. This is unfair (sic). Rakhi quickly highlighted the double standards of the entertainment industry. She recalled the kissing incident of renowned singer Udit Narayan and highlighted the biasedness over public outrage of rape and molestation. She emphasised Samay is not the first person to use abusive language. I can show you many shows where people openly talk about sex and genitals. Why is only one show being targeted? If they really want to save this country then all such vulgar shows should be shut down (sic) said Rakhi Sawant. She further revealed Udit Narayan kissed a female fan on the lips but no one said anything about it. We see so many rape cases in our country yet no one raises their voice. Women are being raped and molested they are not safe but still no one shows outrage. No one has spoken against Udit Narayan for kissing his female fans.
