According to Yogi, Satguru Ravidas “gave importance to karma” and used it to reach the highest level of accomplishment. Our scriptures also stress the need to carry out one’s responsibilities. Karmanyevadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana—one must concentrate on action rather than its benefits—is what the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita says. In the same vein, karma dictates one’s fate,” he said.

The Chief Minister went on to say that work must be prioritized if India is to fulfill its objective of being a developed country. He attributed India’s rise to prominence in the world to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedication to “Karma Sadhana” during the previous 11 years.
