Kia Motors, a car company known for providing excellent features at a reasonable price in the MPV segment, has increased the price of one of its big and popular cars. The price of this car has increased by up to Rs 10,000 depending on the variant. Its competition in the market is from Maruti XL6.
Kia India, the Indian subsidiary of South Korean company Kia Motors, had also increased the prices of many of its models in January. Now the company has increased the price of its 7-seater car Kia Carens by Rs 10,000.
In India, Kia India sells 3 models of regular cars. One of them is Kia Seltos and the other is Kia Sonet. Kia Carens is its only 3-row i.e. 7-seater car. The company has increased the price of the latest model 'Gravity' trim of Kia Carens by Rs 10,000. While the prices of its other trims have also increased. Now the starting price of Kia Carens has become Rs 10.6 lakh. This is the ex-showroom price of the car.
The company is also working on bringing the electric version of Kia Carens. However, no clear statement has been given by the company regarding its arrival. Not only this, the discussion of the facelift version of Kia Carens has also been in the market for a long time. The company presents it in a new design language, which will make it a new-age premium MPV.
Kia has recently launched many more cars in India. The most talked about among these is its new car Kia Syros. This car is very much talked about among the people due to its unique design. Apart from this, Kia India also sells Carnival and two electric cars EV9 and EV6 in the premium segment.
