Declan Rice's reaction to spoke volumes after the home side snatched a point. The Reds missed the opportunity to extend its lead over second-place to nine points in the Premier League standings, thanks to a last-gasp equaliser from James Tarkowski.
In what was the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park, came out strong and took the lead within the first 15 minutes. A clever free-kick from Jarrad Branthwaite found Beto, who calmly slotted the ball past Alisson in the Liverpool goal.
However, quickly retaliated and levelled the score in the 16th minute, with Alexis Mac Allister heading home from a Mohamed Salah cross. From then on, the match could have gone either way, with both teams creating opportunities.

But it was Liverpool who took the lead in the 73rd minute when Curtis Jones' blocked shot fell to Salah, who made no mistake in beating Jordan Pickford. Just when it seemed like Liverpool was about to pull nine points clear of Arsenal in the title race, Everton had the final say and secured a dramatic draw.
Tarkowski's much to the delight of Arsenal fans and players. Rice took to social media and liked the Toffees' Instagram update about the match-saving goal from Tarkowski.
Everton shared the excitement with the caption: "TARKY LEVELS WITH A ROCKET DEEP IN INJURY TIME! ! ! " accompanied by a clenched fist emoji. Rice's like on the post suggested that he enjoyed seeing Liverpool drop points.
Additionally, Rice's reaction could be seen as a nod to his old boss David Moyes who has had a strong start since his return to the helm at Everton, replacing Sean Dyche last month.
Speaking after the game, Moyes said: "Mental probably sums it up. A brilliant finish for us, to finish the last Goodison Merseyside derby and score in the last minute is in a way fitting."
"We would have liked to have won the game but at 2-1 down I was just thinking that we probably weren't going to get back in, it just looked like Liverpool would keep us out.
"We worked hard, kept at it, probably had more attempts in the second half than the first. [Tarkowski] had the quality which was the one that really mattered."
Despite there was another injury setback for Mikel Arteta's side. Kai Havertz could miss the rest of the season with a hamstring problem, with Arsenal already without Gabriel Jesus at present.
