Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh has witnessed a decline in daytime temperatures once again, with temperatures in 11 cities, including Bhopal, Indore, and Gwalior, falling below 30 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. Gwalior recorded the sharpest drop of 3.7 degrees, with a maximum temperature of 27.8 degrees Celsius.
According to meteorologist at IMD Bhopal, similar weather conditions are expected to persist for the next two days, with fluctuations in temperature continuing throughout February. While no immediate rainfall is expected, temperatures will continue to fluctuate, with cold nights and warm days persisting across most parts of the state. Residents should prepare for shifting weather conditions, particularly in cities like Gwalior, Jabalpur, and Bhopal, where temperature variations are more pronounced.
Western Disturbance Affecting Weather Patterns
IMD Bhopal explained that a Western Disturbance has become active over Jammu and Kashmir, leading to the drop in daytime temperatures. Night temperatures may also see a decline. These conditions are expected to persist on February 14 and 15, after which temperatures will start rising gradually. Multiple Western Disturbances are anticipated throughout February, contributing to continued fluctuations. However, there are no immediate chances of rainfall in the state.
Expected Weather Conditions for the Coming Days
February 13: Slight decline in day and night temperatures; warm conditions may persist in some cities during the day.
February 14: Further minor drop in temperatures, followed by gradual warming in the coming weeks.
