After a seven-year break, Mehwish Hayat is returning to television with a new, much anticipated drama, and this time it’s dark, intense, and brooding. The award-winning actress who was last seen on television in a superhit drama Dil Lagi (2016) is one of the biggest stars of the small and big screen. She has arguably the second biggest fan base in the entire world, waiting for her to make a return, and the world excited.

Mehwish Hayat is one of the most versatile actresses in Pakistan known for her acting skills and powerful screen presence. In 2019, the actress received the highly prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz as an honour for her significant contributions to the entertainment industry and cemented her position as one of the most acclaimed stars of the country.

Now, she’s preparing to make a return to television with a fresh drama that looks to entertain viewers. Though the title of the project still has not been announced, a trailer has already made a splash. A 7th Sky Entertainment production, the series promises love, suspense and secrecy as its mix and Mehwish is the perfect choice to spread her wings and display her huge acting talent in difficult and confrontational role.

It starts the exceptionally Talented Ahsan Khan and Hira Man, Alongside a Stellar Supporting Cast Competing Cast Comperising Usman Perzada, Zainab Qayom, Niyer Ejhaz, Sohail Sameer, Osama Tahir, Nida Mumtaz, Shamyl Khan, Afsheen Hayat and Zohreh Amir. The show is helped by Siraj ul and written by Fatima Faizan and Amber Azhar, indicating its Prime production quality.

Apart from her television success story, Mehwish Hayat’s Hollywood debut happened recently with the series Ms. Marvel, which is a trendsetter in her international journey. Fans from the desi world are craving for her to make a come back on Pakistani Television, keeping this in mind, this new drama is said to be darker and more complex than anything we have seen from the actress yet.

This comeback drama is expected to be a must watch with its thrilling storyline and Mehwish Hayat in a new avatar.
