Pakistani television’s well-known actor Imran Abbas also made the announcement of following the footsteps of actress Javeria Saud.
Imran abbas joined the industry of television through the drama umrao jaan ada in 2003. Apart from that, he also demonstrated acting talent through sun sun dramas as dil-e-muztar, alvida, akbari asghari, tum kon piya, koi chand rakh, and mohabbat tumse nafrat hai.
In 2014, he made his presence felt in the Indian film industry by playing a role in Vikram Bhatt’s Creature 3D alongside Bipasha Basu. He later played a role in the Bollywood movie Jaanisaar. Imran Abbas was severely trolled when he announced that he had been offered roles in a number of hit Indian films, including the Netflix series Heeramandi. His assertion was subsequently endorsed by Indian director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who announced that Imran Abbas was originally in contention for the part of Tajdar in Heeramandi.
Imran Abbas is very active on social media, where not only does he give fans a glimpse of his doings, but he also speaks his mind freely. Recently, in an Instagram story, he spoke to all those who invite him on interviews or podcasts. In no uncertain terms, the actor categorically said, “Please do not expect me to be a guest on your podcast for free just because you know me.” Social media users overwhelmingly agreed with him, although some suggested that he should say this directly to the people inviting him for free podcasts instead of sharing it publicly.
A few weeks back, also actress Javeria Saud publicly declared in her Instagram post that she would never provide free interviews. She confirmed that she isn’t available for interviews for free and would never waste her time on scriptwriting or with family. She even clarified, “Digital content creators monetize their content, so I will consider such opportunities if I am paid and if they align with my values.”
