A huge sinkhole has swallowed part of a high street in Surrey, causing some locals to be evacuated from their homes.
A cordon has been put in place on Godstone High Street. The road between Oxted Road and Bletchingley Road has been closed.
Some nearby buildings have been evacuated, while some homes are also currently without water.
The massive sinkhole is reportedly around 19m (62ft) long and about 3m (10ft) wide.
Pictures from the village show workers next to the hole, which appears to have affected part of a lane and pavement.
Reports of the sinkhole come after SES Water said on Monday (February 17) that it was aware of a burst water main in Godstone High Street which the firm said was affecting water supply to nearby homes.
SES Water posted on X: "Our teams are on site to carry out urgent repair work. A road closure is in place to ensure the safety of our teams on site.
"We're really sorry for the disruption this is causing and are doing all we can to resolve the situation as quickly as possible."
SES Water said earlier this morning that its staff are working "at pace" with UK Power Networks, gas company SGN and the emergency services to safely repair the main as soon as possible.
It advised road users to avoid Godstone High Street, where a signed diversion route is in place. The water company said priority service customers would be delivered bottled water by its teams.
