Indian spinner and cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and dancer wife Dhanashree Verma have parted ways from their four-year marriage.

Sharing a post on the photo and video-sharing site Instagram, Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal appreciated his fans for their support. In his post, he said, “God has saved me so many times that I can’t even count. So I can only imagine how many times I have been saved without even knowing. Thank you, God, for always being with me.”

At the same time, Dhanashree Verma also shared words on faith and trust in her Instagram post, saying, “From troubles to blessings! It’s amazing how God turns our struggles into blessings. If you are worried about something today, remember you have a choice. You can either remain anxious or surrender everything to God and choose the path of prayer. Never underestimate the power of faith—God can make everything better for our good.”

For months, there had been rumors of their breakup on social media. Both had posted cryptic messages indicating that they had broken up, but neither had spoken about it openly or divulged the reasons for their breakup.

The final hearing of their divorce was concluded on Thursday at the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai, with both parties in attendance, reports said.

Speculations began after the couple decided to unfollow each other on Instagram, further reporting that Chahal even deleted pictures of Dhanashree from his account. However, Dhanashree only chose to not remove his pictures while unfollowing him as well, fueling the separation rumors. Chahal’s cryptic stories on Instagram only added fuel to the fire, leaving fans wondering about the state of their relationship.
