Jonathan Ross takes brutal swipe at Gordon Ramsay after admitting mum 'lives in a caravan'

Jonathan Ross took a cheeky swipe a as he accused him of "elder abuse" after the TV chef admitted his mother "lives in a caravan".

During Saturday's edition (February 22) of The Jonathan Ross Show, the 64-year-old broadcaster welcomed a fresh batch of celebrities onto his late-night chat show.

This week, the dad-of-three welcomed the 58-year-old TV chef onto the show alongside actor Danny Dyer, Vanessa Williams and Olympian Keely Hodgkinson.

The culinary expert discussed his eldest daughter Holly's upcoming wedding to Olympian Adam Peaty as well as the launch of his new London restaurant.

But things took an unusual turn when the former EastEnders star discussed his new TV show that follows star as he attempts to get his caravan site up and running.

The former soap star shared his hopes to restore the Great British holiday after investing in his very own caravan club with the help of his daughter Dani Dyer.

It was at this point that the Michelin-star chef revealed that his mum "lives in a caravan" despite the fact that he bought her a new home months after he catapulted to fame.

He told the host: "She lives in a caravan" which shocked the TV star as he asked: "Isn't that elder abuse? You must be worth at least £200million!" Gordon insisted: "I did buy her a house when I first got famous but she spends six months of the year in her caravan, she loves it."

Later on in the show, he discussed his love for his soon-to-be son-in-law as he discussed his daughter's engagement to the West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen.

The happy couple got engaged in July last year after three years of dating, with the happy couple still searching for the perfect place to say 'I Do'.

Speaking about his new show, Danny revealed: "What you might not know about me is I love a caravan and I love a caravan site. So, with my daughter Dani by my side as the voice of reason, I'm taking charge of one.

"I'm chucking in a few quid, and will try and make the greatest of British holidays cool again. Now this cuold be a triumph or a complete f***ing failure, but there's only one way to find out and that's the roll the f***ing dice."
