Kuala Lumpur has been named the second fastest-growing destination in Southeast Asia after Bangkok, thanks to its tourist-friendly atmosphere, according to U.S.-based travel site Travel Off Path.
“Kuala Lumpur is a bustling city that blends steel-and-glass skyscrapers, adorned with Islamic crescents, with 19th-century British colonial landmarks,” the site noted.
The city is best known for the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, the tallest twin towers in the world, where visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the skyline.
