Indias Highest-Earning Companies: The list of Indias most powerful companies 2024 Burgundy Private Hurun India 500 has been published and billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s company Reliance Industries has again won the race. Setting a new benchmark Reliance not only became the highest earner but also the highest revenue-generating company in India. As per the list Reliance in FY 2024 earned a revenue of Rs 9.3 lakh crore 3% more than the previous year. The net profit of the company showed a 7% increase reaching Rs 79020 crore.
Indias 500 Most Valuable Companies
The Burgundy Private Hurun India 500 list revealed the performance of the country’s 500 most valuable companies. The companies’ average revenue was Rs 18700 crore of which 146 companies had revenue of more than Rs 10000 crore.
• Reliance Industries – With earnings of Rs 930529 crore it holds the strongest value-to-revenue multiple of 1.9 in the energy sector.
• Tata Motors – Achieved revenue of Rs 443878 crore marking an impressive 27% year-on-year growth.
• HDFC Bank – Reported revenue of Rs 407995 crore showing a remarkable 99% growth and a strong value-to-revenue multiple of 3.5.
• TCS – Generated Rs 245315 crore in revenue boasting the highest value-to-revenue multiple of 6.6 solidifying its position as the leader in the software sector.
Total Net Profit
The total net profit of the top 500 companies surged by 21 percent to Rs 8.2 lakh crore. Sectors such as energy financial services software automobile and healthcare sectors in particular made huge profits.
These sectors alone accounted for 70 percent of the total profits of Financial Year 2024.
