In order to get Lord Ram’s darshan, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi traveled to Ayodhya. Majhi thanked them for the chance, saying he has wanted to go for a long time.

Speaking to ANI about his visit, Majhi conveyed his sincere appreciation for the chance to get darshan, something he had long desired.

“I am really grateful that last evening I had Ramlalla ji’s magnificent and heavenly darshan. I’ve been wanting darshan for a while, but I was unable to go. I am really fortunate to enjoy the Lord’s darshan today as the Chief Minister of Odisha,” Majhi said.

The chief minister of Odisha also outlined his goals for the state’s development and promised to strive toward them.

“I definitely want to move Odisha ahead and make it rich. Before Prabhu Ji, I prayed for Odisha to become a successful and new state,” he said.

Keshav Prasad Maurya, the deputy chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, blasted the opposition on Monday for making “derogatory remarks” about the current Maha Kumbh 2025, calling them an affront to Indian customs and Hindu culture.

“The Maha Kumbh is a divine and grand event that has been a symbol of spiritual progress,” Maurya told ANI. Nonetheless, the opposition has made careless statements against it, including the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Trinamool Congress (TMC), and Samajwadi Party (SP). Such remarks are offensive not just to India and its culture, but also to the Maha Kumbh.

Additionally, he scolded SP president Akhilesh Yadav for criticizing the government’s approach to employment.
“Akhilesh Yadav claims that young people aren’t finding work, calling it a total disaster. However, the Samajwadi Party’s rioters, gangsters, and criminals are the most jobless group. “The unemployed have never been a concern of the SP,” he told ANI.
