Laxman Utekars Chhaava is currently dominating the box office. It has remained unstoppable even in its second week of release. Starring Vicky Kaushal Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles the historic epic drama has now grossed Rs 326.75 crore domestically and earned Rs 444.50 worldwide. Just in 10 days the film has entered the box office milestone of Rs 400 crore. Chhaava raked in a solid Rs 109.23 crore on its second weekend. It has surpassed the records of blockbusters including Stree 2 Gadar 2 Animal Jawan Dangal becoming the first Bollywood film to earn over Rs 100 crore in its second weekend. Well Rajkummar Raos Stree 2 collected Rs 93.85 crore Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 earned Rs 90.47 crore Sandeep Reddy Vangas Animal collected Rs 87.56 crore  Shah Rukh Khans Jawan grossed Rs 82.46 crore and Aamir Khans Dangal collected Rs 72.93 crore respectively. While considering South dubbed Hindi films Allu Arjuns Pushpa 2 tops the list with its Hindi version earning Rs 128 crore in its second weekend. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh called Chhaava and Pushpa 2: The Rule the biggest earning films in the second weekend. Vicky portrays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj the eldest son of the Maratha empire’s founder. Meanwhile Rashmika Mandanna stars as Yesubai Bhonsale Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb Ashutosh Rana as Sarsenapati Hambirao Mohite and Divya Dutta as Soyarabai. Chhaava has even garnered praise from Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the 98th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.
